Microsoft is reportedly building out its Superintelligence team with at least 10 former Allen Institute for AI staffers and researchers, including much of the OLMo core, a notable talent grab in the AI race. It signals Microsoft is accelerating its push for frontier AI capabilities and deepening Seattle’s role in the industry.
